I Miss My Dad

Dear Dad - I had to write you, because this just does not feel real. You have always been here for me, it is just so hard to believe that you are gone. I have gone through all the pictures today and reminisced in my mind about all of the wonderful times we had together. When I look at the pictures of you with the kids, from when they were babies until now, in everyone of them you have a great big smile, which shows exactly how my children where the light of your life. Dad, I can't thank you enough for being the best grandpa my kids could ever have, we will all cherish your memory forever. And I know that you know that you were the best Dad I could ever ask for and I want you to know that I appreciate everything you have done for me. I love you Dad and want to write a paragraph from the book "tuesday's with Morrie", that will help me get through this: "As long as we can love each other, and remember the feeling of love we had, we can die without ever really going away. All the love you created is still there. All the memories are still there. You live on - in the hearts of everyone you have touched and nurtured while you were here." "Death ends a life, not a relationship". Love you forever - Colleen
