I Miss My Dad

Dear Dad, It's been so hard since you left 2 1/2 weeks ago. We did what we could to make the holidays bright for the kids but it just wasn't the same without you this year. I knew that you would die at some point but I wasn't ready to say goodbye. You were the one that really understood me, we had such a special bond. It's all gone now and I feel so empty. I wish I could hold your warm hand again. I wish I could leave a kiss on your forehead. I wish you were still here. I miss you so much. I can't imagine having to live year after year without you. I'll probably live longer without you than I did with you here. It all just doesn't seem real. I hope you know how much you meant to me; I'm so lucky to have had you as my Dad. Beth
