I Miss My Dad

Hello Papa,

How are you ? You have left us for 11 months already. Your departure on 15-Feb-2001 was really too sudden. None of us expected you to go so fast. From what mum described, I am sure you passed away peacefully and withou pain, right ? I know you are in a better place now, together with Jesus and the other wonderful spririts. Given your hardworking nature, I can imagine that you are now preparing a nice & cosy place awaiting the rest of us to meet you there. I really look foward to meeting you again ! Did you remember on the day you left us, I hugged you and told you I love you ? This is the first time I told you I love you ! Why did I not tell you earlier ? I also kissed you. I begged you to open your eyes, to wake up, I told you not to scare me. But you simply ignored me. You looked so peaceful, so without pain. I guess you did not want to turn back because the place you are going to is very beautiful and those who come and fetch you are wonderful people.

I missed those days when I called home "Hello Papa" and you answered "Wey, Ah Kuan..." so gentle and so loving. Now I can only hear you from my heart. I miss you very very much, papa, I just hope to be able to see you daily in my dream. Just a little request, hope you will grant me.
