I Miss My Dad

I have never written anything so personal for public reading before but I was moved by so many things written about dads that I had to add my own. My dad has recently passed away from Cancer he fought so strongly over the past few years and it has only been recently that he looked like he could fight no more. We were hoping that he would make it out of the hospital and come home where he longed to be, but that was not to be the case. I am sorry dad that I couldn't get you home, and I am sorry that I didn't visit the hospital that day because I had flu, but I am glad that I got to speak with you over the phone just a few hours before you left. I will miss you more than I could ever put into words here but I will stay strong for a little while longer to take care of mum. Goodbye Dad Your Loving Daughter
