I Miss My Dad

Dad, I'ts been almost a year that you've been gone but it feels like yesterday. If I could see you one last time, I would tell you how wonderfull you were and how much I appreciated all the things you ever did for me. Saying good-bye to you that morning, holding your hand,watching you take your last breath, one tear rolled down your face. I know you didn't want to leave us, that you were not ready,and i saw in that one tear all the pain and worry that you tried to hide for so long. I will never forget that. Though I never missed a chance to tell you I loved you, I still don't think I said it enough. I'm glad I was with you when you left dad and even though you couldn't speak I know your last thoughts were of us. I wish you were still here with us but i'm grateful that you are not suffering any longer. I love you daddy and I will always try to do my best make you proud cookie
