It's the soul afraid of dying that never learns to live.... Why this song became my song to you, I'm not sure though the words have a very special meaning now. Nine years have gone by and I still yearn to talk to you just one more time, but somehow I feel whenever I sing that song... I am. The pain never seems to go away. It's like yesterday when I think of you. I still find myself asking what my dad would do.... I still want to call. Ernie got married a week ago. We laughed about how you said you would put bumps on the guys head who was interested in her.... She was only 8 then. She got married at 21. I hope you're watching over her and my baby dolls. They need that help that only Granddaddy could give. I love you Pap... watch over Nanno too. She's going to get married soon too. I know you'll be there at every wedding and at every tear, but it's just not the same.....
