I Miss My Dad

Dear Daddy,

Father's Day was today and what a beautiful sunny day in California. I called Rob, Mary, Theresa and Larry and we all talked about how we miss you.

I wish that I could have been at your grave today and I think Mary and Theresa were there to bring flowers and to read you a letter I sent.

I love and miss you so much. I took the flowers that were at your viewing and put them in the ocean. Today the water was blue and waves were pushing the water in on the coast.

You loved the Pacific and now the ocean knows that something of your life is back within the waters. Perhaps you are like the flowers and God like the ocean: the waves quickly pulled the flowers into the deep.

I'll be cheerful in this life and always look for you to meet me Dad when my time is come.
