Daddy. I wish I knew you better. When you died it was the best thing that ever happened to us. You were an alcoholic who couldn't control your temper. I was very small when you went and at the time I was glad. As the years have passed I have hated myself for feeling that way because I know that I love you and you have left a giant sized hole in my heart. I have always tried to fill your void with things and people. My wife left me today because I cannot love her. She hasn't filled that hole. All I can think of is you. I'm sorry. I miss you. I'm scared of becoming you. Your "China".
