I Miss My Dad
Buddy! Dear God knows I still miss you so and always will. I know you may wonder why I miss and old Irishman like you , but you are my best friend. You taught me what family Love is by working in the sun wind and rain to provide for the family. Thank you! I remember the rides in Downtown Seattle in the Studebaker or the DeSoto. You taught me the value of life.
Your Grandson Buddy is gowing up to be quite a little man. At 14, we have restored many antique electrics and tractors and your favorite all time, a drag saw. Gosh! They are as obnioxious as you said they would be. He remembers very little of you as he was only 2 when you went home. Why then is he so much like you? I tear up almost daly as you are manifested in his actions and interests.
It was a great honor to look after Mom until she went to be with you last April. She suffered so much, it really hurt to see it. I hope I made you proud.
Love Larry
