I Miss My Dad

Dad you've been gone for 14yrs. You gave my sister/your daughter away and met your first grandchild/my son July 1988, then Sept 11 1988 god called you home and Carole, Mom and I walked your coffin down the same aisle in the cathedral. There doesn't go a day by in these 14yrs when I don't think of you and I know your always with me. Kyle's 14 now, Kelly's 11 and Carole has wee John not even a year yet. This might not make much sense to others that read it but I know you understand Dad. You were there when my marriage ended and helped me raise my kids by myself, maybe not physically but I knew I wasn't alone. I'll try to be the father you were to me. Dad I love you and always will.
