I Miss My Dad

Daddy, I miss you so much since you left us last April. You were the strongest person I have ever known. I dream about you sometimes. You are not sick in my dreams. You hug me and I can feel your arms around me. I breath in really hard in my dreams trying to smell the smell of your old spice. I just can't smell it anymore. I know you were hurting so bad and you needed to leave us. I just remember that day you were sitting on the porch in the bright sunshine waving at me as I pulled out of the driveway. I circled the block and came back. It was so hard to say good by to you. I wish I still had you to lean on. Nobody can replace you. I am sorry you suffered so much. I wish it could have been me.
