I Miss My Dad

Dear Dad, If you could be in the room with me right now, I think I would hug you for at least an hour, then I would tell you what a wonderful Dad you have been, and how much you meant to me in my life, and tell you how much I love you. I would tell you what an incredible difference you made in mine and my kids' lives, and how much it hurts to not have you here now to share in the things that are going on. It's so hard to know how much Scott wants you to be here for the birth of his first daughter, and knowing the joy you would find in that. I miss you so much each and every day and wish I had taken the time to really let you know how much I appreciate you. Thank you so much for everything, for your devotion to your family, for your love, and for the incredible legacy you leave us of what it is to be a Father. I love you Dad, Love from your daughter, Val (And thank you for creating this site so I could say these things to my Dad)
