I Miss My Dad

Fathers Day is just around the corner, but Daddy won't be beside the phone for me to call to say Happy Fathers Day Daddy. He died May 2, 2003 at home due to lung cancer, and buried on my birthday May 8th. Daddy and I planned to go fishing this year like we have done in the past. He got me started fishing when I was 7 years old. I know he couldn't live forever, but I just wished he could stick around at this summer. But, I guess his body was too weak to hang on any longer. I will hold those presious memories of my father til my death.
