I Miss My Dad

It's been just over a year since we parted, just wanted to tell you that I'm doing well. Your new grandaughter is beautiful, she will be one year old soon... I wish you would have got to meet her... she looks like you when she has a serious face. Sometimes when she looks at me with a serious face I feel as if it's you that's looking at me. Somehow the world seems a colder place without you dad, you were always my home. There are difficult days when I wish I could have just a simple conversation with you, share my excitement, or get a simple word of advice. Say hello to grandpa for me, I never met him... it must be nice for you to see him and grandma again huh ? My father-in-law Duane just passed away last month... of cancer as well. I'm doing my best to support and comfort Nette. If you can please give me a sign that you are with me... okay ? I'll see you again soon. I love you Papa.
