I Miss My Dad

Dear Daddy, Well, I'm sweet 16 now and unfortunately you weren't there to help me blow out the candles. Its been a year an 1 month since you left an it still hurts jus like I was back on the scene of the accident watching them work on you and hearing "DOA" come out of the paramedics mouth. I'm going to be getting my license soon, I finish my driver's ed in Sept. I really wish you could be there to see me drive. I love you daddy...I jus wanted you to know not only did I lose my daddy that day but also my best friend. Your always on my mind, and in my heart an no one can replace the missing piece in my life now. Also, I wanted you to know I'm doing ok, me an mom are FINALLY getting along. To be honest, I don't know where i'd be without her. She's been my rock thru all this. I never thought i'd say it but I thank god every day for her. I love you daddy, an I love Linda too.
