I Miss My Dad
Daddy,
I love you. I love you so much. I hope with all my heart you know that. I hope you saw Kady and I talk. We know you didn't want to be here. We know you'd never leave us on purpose, but its going to be okay. We know we should have payed more attention to everything you taught us. We'll be good people. We will make you proud. I'll paint that picture you asked me to draw. I'll finish every project you started on our house. I'll stay by our mother's side. But, please, let her get over it. I can't watch her hug your things and cry anymore. I want everything to be okay. I want everyone to be okay. I loved you so much.... I'm so sorry I never wrote your life down. I'm so sorry. I promised you over and over and I'm sorry I never did. I know we both thought you have a lot more life ahead of you. I'll never take the people in my life for granted again. I hope you loved Daniel. I hope you knew he'd someday be your son-in-law. I hope you know how good he is to me. I love you and I will make you proud and I will do something with my life. I promise you. I don't know why you left... but, I know you're happier and I know we'll get through this.
We thought you were super man. I know a lot of little girls think their dad is, but you actually were. You almost died about a million times. How could this happen? I'm just so happy it happened when we were all happy and we all good to you. I'm happy none of us let on a bad note. I just wish it wasn't now. We're too young to be without our daddy.
You were such a good man and you did so many amazing things. And I want to be just like you. I will make you proud, Daddy.
