I Miss My Dad

It''s been almost four years (on New Year's Eve) but I still miss you like it was yesterday. I can still hear your voice in my mind, and I remember all the wonderful Tuesday afternoons you spent with me and my boys the last few years. I know that we were given a gift by God in that you were with us for so long although your heart was not well - but I still feel "cheated" out of so many more years that could have been - you were only 61. I miss you sooooo much - everyday - and I know that Joshua does, too. Unfortunately, Jake was a little too young to be able to really get to know you and remember you - but Josh and I are good about telling him stories. You truly left your fingerprints on everyone's lives that you touched and I will always miss you and look forward to the day when we will be together again in God's wonderful home. I love you Dad!
