I Miss My Dad
I lost my Mom on April 14, 2001 after a short but bizarre and painful illness. No one knows what it really was or what caused it. I'm 39 years old and getting married for the first time next year, and I can't believe she "left" before my wedding. I can't even bring myself to plan the wedding because it won't be the same without her.
Mom, I miss you every minute of every day. I feel like I failed you- your nurse, who you thought could help you through any illness couldn't help you through this one. I'm glad your pain and suffering have ended, but life will never be the same without you. I thank God every day that the last thing I said to you was that I Love You. That will last forever.
