Thank you for the opportunity to share this pain. My husband passed away March 6, 2001. He was only 54. I have two beautiful children, a son age 15 and a daughter age 13. The loss has been so painful for all of us. I waiver between thanking God for giving me the love of my life, and our beautiful children and wondering how and why Michael was taken so young. Time is passing so quickly, but the pain doesn't lessen. There are moments when I feel his presence, but for each of us the most difficulty comes in that moment when our thoughts are to show Dad, tell Dad, ask Dad you know when you have to remind yourself that he just isn't there to show, tell or ask.
