I just found your site and read what you wrote about your dad. I really could never imagine loosing my father, but I know I will someday. There are several things left unsaid to fathers. I know this myself because I never told my dad I love him. I guess it’s probably a childish thing, but I don’t remember ever giving him a hug or telling him that I love him. I admire my dad and sometimes finding myself not being able to stop talking about him to my girlfriend Rachel. You know, I realize now it’s the things left unsaid that hurt the most in the long run. I’m writing you this letter because you helped me. You woke me up from those childish reasons and I have started talking to my dad more. I will tell him I love him, soon- I promise to you. I am very sorry about your loss, I can’t imagine how you must have felt, but I can tell you this—keep your head up and keep smiling cause that’s what your dad would want.
