Dear Dad, Your girls are with you! We were all with you holding your hands and feet when you left us. Did you know we were there? Did you hear us cheering you on? We cried, "WE LOVE YOU WE LOVE YOU!!!!!" And did you know that when you left us, you squeezed Dana's hand and smiled?!! WE LOVE YOU DAD!!!!! I ran outside your hospice room and looked up at the clouds and waved as hard as I could. Did you see me? Did you see us? We were there with you, Dad! Did you know that? Who did you see when you smiled, Dad? Did you see your Dad? Did you see Paw Paw? Did Jesus come to get you? I think about it every day and Mom can't understand why. Do you know? You were so young. And so handsome. Not a gray hair on your head! How come you had to leave? WE NEED YOU!!!!! Who's going to tell us about the birds in the back yard? What about all the flowers you planted? Who is going to take care of them? Who is going to take care of us? Sean came to your funeral, Dad. Sandy says that he refuses to let anyone take over your office. Did you know that even Dalland came to your funeral? Will you tell Miss Pat that he misses her so much? Did you know you had so many people that loved you? It was horrible riding in that limo behind you. Did you see us there? Where are you? Are you a kid again? Are you in pain? I saw your baby pictures that Nanny keeps in your baby book. You look just like Dana. Dad, do you know that you are the best Dad in the world? I love you so much. Mom and Dana love you so much!!! Nanny misses her only son!!! I pray, Dad, that you continue to watch over us. I want to go to heaven to be with you. How long will it be until we are together again? I look forward to that time, Dad.
